If you've been following us since the beginning, you will know that the period poverty crisis in the UK is something that's very close to our heart. It is our mission to highlight an important message. 1 in 10 girls can't afford to buy menstrual products according to Plan International UK. Over 137,700 children in the UK have missed school because of period poverty and 68% said they felt less able to pay attention at school or college while menstruating. Menstrual supplies are not cheap but are an absolute necessity.
